Section 144 has been imposed in Shaheen Bagh amidst protests against the citizenship law in Shaheen Bagh. In Shaheen Bagh, Delhi Police has issued a notice that they should not gather in this area, nor perform. Legal action will be taken against those who disobey this order. Women have been sitting on a continuous protest in Shaheen Bagh for two and a half months and are demanding removal of the citizenship law.

नागरिकता कानून के खिलाफ शाहीन बाग में जारी विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बीच शाहीन बाग में धारा 144 लागू कर दी गई है. शाहीन बाग में दिल्ली पुलिस ने नोटिस जारी कर कहा है कि इस क्षेत्र में न इकट्ठे हों, न ही प्रदर्शन करें. इस आदेश को न मानने वालों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्यवाही की जाएगी. शाहीन बाग में ढाई महीने से लगातार धरने पर महिलाएं बैठी हैं और नागरिकता कानून को हटाने की मांग कर रही हैं.
