R. Kelly Faces New Federal
Sex Charges in Brooklyn According to TMZ, federal prosecutors in New York
filed an indictment accusing the singer of sex crimes
against two new alleged victims. One of the accusers, who claims she was under 18
when she had sex with the singer in 2015, says he
never disclosed the fact that he had herpes. The other woman claims they had
unprotected sex and was
unknowingly exposed to the STD. According to documents obtained by the media outlet, Kelly is
also accused of using "force, threats of force, physical
restraint and threats of physical restraint." He is facing charges of coercion of a minor, transportation
of a minor across state lines and racketeering. Kelly's trial in Chicago was delayed after authorities seized over 100 electronic devices belonging to him. The new charges against
him add up to the total of
nine in New York and 13 in Illinois. Kelly is also facing pending cases
in Illinois and Minnesota.
