Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said on Friday that he is considering a proposal to not allow private agents and vendors to book train tickets for passengers. Explaining the reason behind this, he said that when a train ticket can be booked through a mobile phone sitting at home, then there is no need for private agents or vendors.

रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि वो प्राइवेट एजेंट्स और वेंडर्स को पैसेंजर्स के लिए ट्रेन टिकट बुक नहीं करने देने के प्रस्ताव पर विचार कर रहे हैं. इसके पीछे की वजह बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि जब घर बैठे मोबाइल फोन के जरिए ट्रेन टिकट बुक हो सकता है तो प्राइवेट एजेंट्स या वेंडर्स की जरूरत नहीं है.
