This Australian science teacher managed to create a hand sanitiser dispenser from bits and bobs he found around his house.
To protect his family from COVID-19 Jacob Strickling uses the window wiper mechanism and battery from a car, a wheel from an office chair, bits of wood, a pipe and a kitchen stool to build his machine.
He also makes his own alcoholic hand sanitiser from aloe vera plant and methylated spirits which he puts into a plastic sauce bottle, which then fits in the dispenser.
The footage filmed on March 18 shows Jacob's kids test out the machine by pressing a foot pedal which sees the soap released from the container.
