Dana White Says 'UFC 249' Will Be Closed Event Due to Coronavirus The UFC President confirmed on Monday that the
latest pay-per-view will be closed to the public. White also confirmed that he does know
the location but is not yet ready
to reveal that information. Dana White, via
Yahoo Sports UFC 249 features Khabib Nurmagomedov
vs. Tony Ferguson as the main event. The event, scheduled for April 18,
was originally set to take place at
Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. White had previously postponed UFC
Fight Night events scheduled for
March 21, March 28 and April 11. UFC has also closed its executive offices in
Las Vegas due to coronavirus concerns.
