Google Maps Introduces New Restaurant
Takeout and Delivery Feature No part of the U.S. economy has been hit harder by
the coronavirus outbreak than the restaurant industry. Some have closed for the foreseeable future, but
others are still open for delivery and takeout. Thanks to a new option on Google Maps, you can now
see if a restaurant near you does either, or both. The feature gives users an easier way to find out what
eating establishments in their area are open for business. The "order online" option is available
on both iOS and Android devices. It is found under each spot's
information section. According to Engadget, "order online" can
currently be used in the U.S. and Canada.
