북한 "어제 평양서 최고인민회의 진행"

North Korea says it held its Supreme People's Assembly on Sunday,... which was postponed from last Friday without explanation.
The regime's state-run media Korean Central News Agency reported this morning that the biggest annual meeting of the rubber-stamp parliament was held over the weekend.
There was no mention of whether leader Kim Jong-un was there,... as Kim is not a member of the parliament.
Ahead of the meeting,... senior regime officials paid tribute to the statues of its founder Kim Il-sung and his son Kim Jong-il.
Parliamentary presidium President Choe Ryong-hae and Pak Pong-ju, vice chairman of the State Affairs Commission were also present.
