According to Business Insider, there are a few things that restaurant owners want customers to know about ordering delivery and takeout during the coronavirus pandemic.
1. Many restaurants offer no-contact delivery.
2. Ordering directly from restaurants, not through an app, is better for their business. Sometimes servers miss out on tips through third part delivery.
3. Ordering directly from restaurant is also cheaper.
Abhishav Kapur, co-founder and CEO of Bikky says, "You're actually spending 20-30% less when you order direct."
4. Try to place larger orders. Small orders can actually cost the restaurant money.
