The incidents of mob lynching do not seem to be stopping in India. Over suspicion of cattle-theft and child-abduction, there have been many incidents of lynching. There have been 1300 incidents between 2014 to 2016 alone. Moreover, 23,000 cows have been freed from smugglers and sent to cow shelter.
