As India remains under a lockdown to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in India, Asia's famous and largest tulip garden is closed for visitors in Srinagar amid the lockdown. The garden overlooking the famous Dal Lake was thrown open to public on March 31. Spread over 80 acres on the banks of Dal lake in the foothills of Zabarwan mountain range, the garden boasts of 1.3 million tulips of 51 different varieties this year.
