Early in Lockdown 3.0, migrant laborers have become a major political issue back home. Many opposition parties, including the Congress, have alleged that the central government is charging ticket money from laborers even in times of crisis. All these allegations have now been answered by the Ministry of Railways. The Railway Ministry says that for these entire trips, only 15 percent of the money is being charged from the state governments, in which case no tickets are being sold.

लॉकडाउन 3.0 की शुरुआत में ही प्रवासी मजदूरों का घर वापस जाना एक बड़ा राजनीतिक मसला बन गया है. कांग्रेस समेत कई विपक्षी पार्टियों ने आरोप लगाया है कि इस संकट के वक्त में भी केंद्र सरकार मजदूरों से टिकट का पैसा वसूल रही है. इन सभी आरोपों पर अब रेल मंत्रालय की ओर से जवाब दिया गया है. रेल मंत्रालय का कहना है कि इन पूरी यात्राओं के लिए सिर्फ राज्य सरकारों से 15 फीसदी पैसा वसूला जा रहा है, ऐसे में कोई भी टिकट नहीं बेचा जा रहा है.
