This stunning audiovisual recording of humpback whales in the South Pacific Ocean communicating through a unique song.

Photographer Mike Korostelev had an incredible encounter with two giant humpbacks on September 6, 2016 off the coast of Tonga.

The filmer said: "Nobody knows exactly for what reasons whales sing their songs but all songs are really beautiful."
