Hello friends, welcome to my channel. In this video I'm going to show you


how you can connect your laptop HardDisk with your Desktop PC


My laptop is dead, so I need to transfer the data to my new hard drive

Nowadays most of the PCs support SATA power cable


and SATA ports, so if your PC supports

SATA ports, it must come with SATA power cable


Here is my SATA power cable, see my new hard drive

is also connected with a SATA power cable and with SATA ports.

Here I am connecting the SATA power


cable with my hard drive


Match the groove in the power cable with


the hard disk while conecting it

Now it's connected. Now we need the SATA data cable

to connect it with the mother board

Here you can see my motherboard has 3 extra

SATA ports and these cables are


provided with the motherboard, so in my MB


I got two SATA cables, you can also buy

it seperately

Two cables are actually, one for the HDD


and one for the DVD ROM, I don't have DVD in my system


But if you have DVD ROM, you can


open the cables and connect it with your HDD

I'm going to use this permanently with this computer


So here I have connected the cable and right now I am going to screw it :) with the casing

Here you can see, in the casing there are


exact port for laptop Hard drive


Actually this is the prot for

your SSD

SSD and Laptop HDD are similar in size

so, here I'm screwing the laptop hard disk

As I don't have any SSD right now, I can use this space

for my laptop hard drive

So, this way you can connect your Laptop Hard Drive with your computer

Here after turnign on the PC, you can see

in my computer I can see all the drives available

in my two hard drives. And now I am accessing

the data from my Laptop's hard drive.
