The NCC, NSS contingent along with others marched Rajpath on 68th Republic Day. The ceremony began with PM Modi paying tribute to martyrms, Amar Jawan jyoti followed by President Pranab Mukherjee posthumously awarding Ashok Chakra to Havildar Dada. Havildar Hangpan Dada had laid down his life in Kupwara on May 27 after killing three terrorists.
