The prosecution in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) trial told the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday (May 19) that it would initiate contempt proceedings against former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak over an interview he gave to a foreign news wire agency two months ago.
