Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Wednesday said in a Facebook post that an audio clip of him purportedly getting a consensus from party members to leave Pakatan Harapan was clearly “doctored”.

He said if it is true that he wished to betray the people’s mandate, he could have done it when Perikatan Nasional named him as prime minister candidate.
