Seoul will continue to support UN peacekeeping operations with its medical and technological strengths.
That's South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha today as she met with her government in preparation for hosting the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference.
She said such contribution will not only help the country gain support from UN member states, build foundations for Korean people and businesses to advance in international organizations, but also help South Korea secure a seat on the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member.
The UN Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference will be held in Seoul on April 8th and 9th next year.
