Fewer vehicles were detected attempting unauthorised interstate travel on Friday, compared to the day before, but there were still 1,613 vehicles that were told to turn back.

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said this was fewer than the 2,539 vehicles that attempted to cross state lines before being asked to turn back by the police on Thursday.
