A new poll from Reuters and Ipsos has Biden leading Trump by six points among registered voters.
45 percent backed Biden while 39 percent favored Tump.
When the same poll was published last week, the presumptive Democratic nominee had a nine-point lead on the president.
The Real Clear Politics head-to-head polling average still puts Biden ahead of Trump by 5.3 percentage points nationwide.
