Vehicles were trapped on a road submerged by deep floodwater in flash due to a tropical rainstorm in Samut Prakan, Thailand, on June 2.
The deluge battered the province just south of Bangkok for several hours. Drains were blocked by the torrents or rain water, causing flash floods on the roads.
Footage shows how the water was around a metre deep in some places, making it impossible to drive through and leaving motorists stranded.
The country has been battered by tropical storms for several weeks as it moves into its hottest part of the year followed by the lengthy monsoon rainy season, which sees powerful downpours of rain and storms.
