The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) today informed that now 1.20 lakh samples are being tested for Covid-19 daily. It also added that at present there are 476 govt labs and 205 private labs for testing. Nivedita Gupta, scientist at Indian Council of Medical Research, said, We have 681 laboratories that are approved for conducting COVID19 tests - 476 in government sector and 205 in private sector, as of 1st June 2020. Today, we are conducting 1 lakh 20 thousand tests every day.
