Two earthquakes of mild-intensity hit Hampi in Karnataka and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand at the same time on Friday morning, National Center for Seismology has said. Jamshedpur in Jharkhand was hit by a mild-intensity earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter Scale at around 6:55 am. At the same time, Hampi in Karnataka also experienced an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter Scale, National Center for Seismology has said.

దేశంలో వరుస భూకంపాలు నమోదువుతూనే ఉన్నాయి. కొద్దిరోజుల కిందట దేవ రాజధాని సహా నేషనల్ క్యాపిటల్ రీజియన్ (ఎన్సీఆర్) పరిధిలోని పలు ప్రాంతాలను వణికించిన భూకంపాలు వరుస కట్టాయి. ఢిల్లీకి ఆనుకుని ఉన్న హర్యానాలోని గుర్‌గావ్.. ఆ తరువాత ఉత్తర ప్రదేశ్‌లోని గ్రేటర్ నొయిడా, ఘజియాబాద్‌లల్లో భూకంప తీవత్ర నమోదైంది. తాజాగా జార్ఖండ్, కర్ణాటకల్లో భూకంపాలు సంభవించాయి. ఈ రెండూ ఏకకాలంలో నమోదు కావడం ఆశ్చర్యానికి గురి చేస్తోంది.
