MLB News: New MLB Proposal Features 76-Game Season
The MLB made an updated proposal on Monday, featuring a 76-game season with players earning 75 percent of their prorated salaries. There would also be $200 million in playoff pool money for players, and draft pick compensation for free agents would be eliminated for a year.
The proposal has the regular season ending September 27 and playoffs going no later than October 31. The playoff schedule is yet to be finalized.
