Promise to Stamp out Racism Infinity Ward, the developers
behind the popular franchise
of shooting games, has announced plans to issue
more bans for racist usernames. The company will also take
more steps to monitor racist
content in the game in the future, following the recent
protests surrounding the
Black Lives Matter movement. Infinity Ward, via Twitter The company then listed the ways
in which they are striving to
"do more" to stamp out racism. They are "adding additional
resources to monitor and
ID racist content," adding "in-game reporting
systems to increase the
number of bans by hour" and increasing permanent bans
to "root out repeat offenders."
