Thousands gather for George Floyd memorial in Houston
Thousands have attended a public memorial service for George Floyd, two weeks after his death at the hands of Minneapolis police officers.

A private service will be held in Floyd’s hometown of Houston, where he will be laid to rest next to his mother’s grave.

George Floyd’s death has sparked mass protests against racial injustice and police brutality.
