Today In this video we are going to prepare Semiya Payasam, vermicelli payasam.
Ingredients:-
1. Milk – 1 litre
2. Semiya/vermicelli – 200 grams
3. Condensed Milk – ½ cup
4. Sugar – ½ cup
5. Cashew Nut – 2 Tbsp
6. Almond - 2 Tbsp
7. Raisins- 2Tbsp
8. Ghee – 3 Tbsp
9. Cardamom – 10 Nos
Preparation:-
1. Add 3 Tbsp of Ghee in a pre-heated pan and fry Samiya/vermicelli, Cashew nut, Raisins, and Almond till it turns a light brown color.
2. Add 500 ml of milk to fried Vermicelli/semiya and stir continuously. ,
3. After vermicelli is cooked well, lower the flame and add ½ cup condensed milk,½ cup sugar, and the remaining 500 ml milk.
4. Add cardamom, fried Cashew nut, Almond, raisins and stir well.
Our Semiya Payasam is ready…..
It can be served hot and cold…
