Firefighters have rescued a 5-foot-long venomous cobra hiding inside a shop in south India.
Video of the scene came out of Oddanchatram vegetable market in Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu, on June 10.
According to reports, the snake was hiding in a sack inside the shop.
The owner spotted the reptile and alerted the fire department officials.
A rescue team rushed to the spot to rescue the snake and avert any human-animal conflict.
The video shows the firefighters rescuing the snake from the shop using a snake catcher stick and a trap bag.
The snake was later released into a nearby forest. No injuries were reported after the incident.
