A YouTuber from Ukraine has restored an old military axe to its former glory.

The restoration shows the cleaning of the axe and the handle after 24 hours of it sitting in citric acid.

"I bought it for less than five dollars and decided to restore it. It was very rusty and at one moment I thought that I couldn’t restore it, but after I cleaned the rust and the rest of the wooden handle and put it in citric acid for 24 hours, I realized that I could succeed," the filmer told Newsflare.

The clip was filmed on June 14.
