Earth will be witnessing an annular solar eclipse on June 11 2020. There are three types of solar eclipse, a total solar eclipse which is only visible from a small area on earth, a partial solar eclipse when the sun, moon and earth are not exactly lined up. The solar eclipse that the earth is going to witness on June 21st is an annular eclipse which is the third type. During this eclipse moon is farthest from the earth. The moon does not block the view of the sun completely and it looks like a ring of fire.
The path of the annular solar eclipse will start near Gharsana in Rajasthan around 10:12 am and the phase of annularity will begin around 11:49 am and end at 11:50 am.
