In a miraculous rescue, a team of police personnel saved four people from drowning in a river in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place in Prayagraj on June 22.
Footage shows a group of a policeman on a boat trying to drag the drowning men out of the water.
According to local reports, the four individuals had visited the river to take a bath at the meeting of three rivers in Prayagraj.
In Hindu tradition, the meeting of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers are considered sacred, and a dip is said to flush away all sins.
Senior Superintendent of Police Abhishek Dixit spotted them and ordered their rescue. A team of water patrol police then rushed to the spot.
In a matter of minutes, the vigilant police team rescued the four people who were drowning in the fast stream of water.
Abhishek Dixit has offered the police officials a reward for their bravery.
