Indian engineers will fabricate the world's largest high-vacuum cold storage vessel for an ambitious international project to generate energy from a process that powers the sun. The vessel called the cryostat will be home to the International Thermornuclear Experimental Reactor, the largest and the most advanced facility of its kind being built in Cadarache, France.

दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा परमाणु फ्यूजन प्रोजेक्ट फ्रांस में तैयार किया जा रहा है। इस प्रोजेक्ट में भारत भी एक बड़ी और अहम भूमिका निभा रहा है। परमाणु संयंत्र का दिल कहा जाने वाला यंत्र भारत ने बनाया है। इस यंत्र को क्रायोस्टेट कहते हैं या फिर परमाणु संयंत्र का फ्रिज भी कहा जा सकता है। क्योंकि ये एटॉमिक ऊर्जा से निकलने वाली गर्मी, कूलेंट आदि को ठंडा रखता है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार गुजरात के सूरत में इस क्रायोस्टेट को बनाया गया है। इसे एलएंडटी ने बनाया है।
