A man was shocked after being woken up by two cobras mating under his bed. Thawan Auisra, 56, was disturbed by the loud bangs in his home in Saraburi, central Thailand on Monday afternoon (June 29). He then crouched down to look under the bed and saw the snakes hissing so he ran away and called the rescue team. Footage shows the staff using a catching rod to grip a 6ft long cobra from under the bed. The first serpent was placed in the sack before they went for the other one, which was around 7ft long hiding inside the bathroom. The relieved owner said the cobras might have entered his house to find a shelter for mating. He said: "I was taking a nap when I heard the banging under my bed, which scared me. "They might have slithered into my house through a small hole in the bathroom. Maybe they thought the house was vacant because the lights were out." The amorous reptiles were separated at released back into the wild.
