London theatre workers use pink ribbons to protest lack of government support

Views 5

Theatre workers are putting up pink hazard tape reading 'Missing Live Theatre' on performing arts buildings around the UK, including on the National Theatre in London. The move is intended to draw attention to the plight of theatres, which still have no resumption date even as pubs and cinemas prepare to reopen, while many of those who work in the creative industries don't qualify for the government's coronavirus support schemes due to their freelance status.
