The full moon of Ashadha month is celebrated every year as Guru Purnima. Guru Purnima has special significance in Hinduism. On this day people worship their gurus and seek blessings from them. This year, Guru Purnima is being celebrated on 5 July. The third lunar eclipse of 2020 is also going to happen on 5 July. However, this time the lunar eclipse will not be visible in India, due to which neither the country will be hit by sutak nor will it have any effect on Guru Purnima.

आषाढ़ मास की पूर्णिमा को हर साल गुरु पूर्णिमा के रूप में मनाया जाता है. हिंदू धर्म में गुरु पूर्णिमा का विशेष महत्व है. इस दिन लोग अपने गुरुओं की पूजा करते हैं और उनसे आशीर्वाद लेते हैं. इस साल गुरु पूर्णिमा 5 जुलाई को मनाई जा रही है. 5 जुलाई को साल 2020 का तीसरा चंद्र ग्रहण भी लगने वाला है. हालांकि, इस बार लगने वाला चंद्र ग्रहणभारत में दिखाई नहीं देगा, जिस वजह से न ही देश में सूतक लगेगा और न ही गुरु पूर्णिमा पर इसका कोई प्रभाव पड़ेगा.
