A motorcycle rider had a lucky escape after dodging an oncoming lorry that wobbled dangerously from side-to-side.
The man pulled out from a u-turn point between a dual carriageway and took a shortcut by riding into oncoming traffic to reach the hard shoulder.
However, he rode straight into the path of an articulated lorry with two trailers on the back.
The quick-thinking driver had to swerve at the last moment to avoid hitting the motorcyclist in Krabi, southern Thailand, on July 1.
Dashcam footage shows how perilously close they were to colliding.
The lorry's cabin and two containers rocked from side-to-side but the vehicle somehow managed to keep its balance before the driver stopped to take a breather after the near miss.
A passing motorist who captured the incident said it was lucky the rider was not hurt.
He said: ''They came out of the u-turn channel and were crossing to ride in the motorcycle lane. The reason it was dangerous is because he crossed over and rode the wrong way towards the vehicles.
''He was counter-flowing to take a shortcut to reach one of the buildings further down the road. Luckily he wasn't knocked over.''
