The coronavirus pandemic had infected more than 13 million people around the world and killed more than 570,000 people in a little over six months. The disease’s spread has continued to accelerate as Covid-19 infections climbed by one million in just five days.  During a press conference on July 13, 2020, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organisation, said “too many countries are headed in the wrong direction."  Video source: AP
