A COVID-19 candidate vaccine developed by Beijing-based Sinovac Life Sciences Co, in collaboration with Brazilian research institute Butantan, has landed in Brazil, where some 900 volunteer doctors and paramedics in Sao Paulo will be the first in the country to receive the potential vaccine as part of phase three clinical trials.
