Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who is making his directorial debut with upcoming film ‘Dil Bechara’ has opened up about his last conversation with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. In an interview, he revealed that he last talked to him on May 27- the day Mukesh Chhabra celebrates his birthday. Mukesh told, "He had personally called me up on my birthday, and we spoke. We had a long chat on 27th May. He would always be there, wishing you on your birthdays, so he had called. That's about it. Because of the lockdown, he and I hadn't met for a few months. I wish I knew he was in pain.” Talking about film Dil Bechara, Mukesh said, "He was aware of the film being released online. He also felt that it's the best time to release the film digitally because everyone will be able to watch it. Nobody knows when theatres will open, and Sushant also knew that. He was happy with the decision, too. He had seen the film during dubbing. He was very excited about it. He couldn't see the final cut which is unfortunate. But he was happy and we were discussing how to market the film.” Dil Bechara stars Sushant Singh Rajput and debut actor Sanjana Sanghi that will release on an online platform on 24th of July.
