With President Uhuru Kenyatta set to meet county heads at state house Nairobi on Monday for the 5th extra-ordinary session of the national and county government’s coordinating summit, to review the surge of covid-19 infections in the country, counties are not ready to combat the deadly contagion, this is according to health representatives. Led by the Kenya Union Of Clinical Officers Chairman Peterson Wachira says that some counties have not met the national government requirements which has led to the surge of infections among health workers.
