The Indian Premier League's Governing Council will meet on August 2 to give a final shape to the schedule and other arrangements for the eagerly-awaited T20 showpiece to be held in the UAE this year. The tournament, forced out of India due to the raging COVID-19 pandemic, will be held from September 19 to November 8 in the UAE. The meeting, expected to be attended by top BCCI brass, including President Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah, would address concerns of various stakeholders.

आईपीएल 2020 की तैयारी जोर शोर से शुरू हो चुकी है. आईपीएल गर्वनिंग काउंसिल ने अपना काम करना शुरू कर दिया है. बीसीसीआई भी आईपीएल गर्वनिंग काउंसिल के साथ बैठकर फाइनल बात करने वाली है. ताजा अपडेट ये है कि बीसीसीआई ने पूरा आईपीएल शेड्यूल तैयार कर लिया है. कब कहाँ और कौन सी तारिख को मैच खेला जाएगा. ऐसे में बस दो काम और बाकी रह गया है. पहला ये कि केंद्र सरकार से बीसीसीआई को मंजूरी मिल जाए जोकि संभव भी है. इसके बाद सभी टीमें तैयार किये गए कार्यक्रमों पर मुहर लगा दें कि वो इस शेड्यूल से संतुष्ट हैं. माना जा रहा है कि दो अगस्त को होने वाले आइपीएल गवर्निंग काउंसिल की मीटिंग में शेड्यूल की आधिकारिक घोषणा होगी.
