Since the rains in North Bihar, the rivers, which have been continuously flowing in the district, are slowly calming but still flowing above the danger mark but the old Gadak is flowing above the danger mark and the cost is increasing. Due to the breakdown of the old ring dam of Budhi Gandak near Vijay Chapra of Ahiyapur, flood water is spreading rapidly in dozens of villages of medical and surrounding loop.

उत्तर बिहार में हो रही बारिश के बाद से जिले में लगातार नदियां तांडव मचा रही बागमती धीरे धीरे शांत हो रही है लेकिन अभी भी खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रही है लेकिन बूढ़ी गडक खतरे के निशान काफी ऊपर बह रही है और लागातर बढ़ोतरी जारी है जिसके कारण अहियापुर के विजय छपरा के पास बूढ़ी गंडक का जर्जर रिंग बांध टूटने से मेडिकल और आस पाश के दर्जनों गांव में बाढ़ का पानी तेजी से फैल रहा है
