During an emergency meeting on Thursday, Penang DAP has decided that Lim Guan Eng does not need to step down or resign from his post as Penang Chief Minister. The meeting was attended by 19 state committee members. He announced that the Central Executive Committee (CEC) will hold another emergency meeting at the party’s headquarters at 11am, Friday.
