Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday that the ministry intends to hold local government elections in three years time after the nation’s finances and economy stabilises. She also said the government is planning to introduce a new policy for the construction of affordable low-cost homes, measuring 900 square feet.
