Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said it is vital for the Parliamentary Select Committee to be transparent and look for points of mutual interests in the proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act to avoid misunderstanding and political attacks.
