Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad, the fifth Chief Justice of Malaysia, told participants of the Reject ICERD Congress held in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 25 that the groups that are against ICERD (International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination) can heave a sigh of relief after the government decided not to ratify ICERD. But he warned that anything is still possible as the government has shown its tendency of flip-flopping on policy matters.
