Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad said the government is steadfast with the decision to suggest Tommy Thomas as the Attorney-General's candidate even though it was opposed by various parties including the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Dr Mahathir said that after a state Pakatan Harapan meeting in Kedah on Sunday.
