Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the proposal for the realignment of the East Cost Railway Link to pass through Nilai was just a suggestion.

Loke said he raised the matter because he felt the ECRL alignment should be maximised.

At the Negri Sembilan state assembly on Tuesday, Loke – who is the assemblyman for Chennah – made the proposal. He said having an ECRL station there would help in the development of Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0.
