As the concern that Malaysia is used as a dumping ground for plastic materials grows, the government has formed a special committee comprising the Housing and Local Government Ministry and other related ministries to address this problem. Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister Dr Xavier Jayakumar told reporters on Sunday that the government would come up with a progress report on the matter soon.
