Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee on Tuesday said contrary to popular belief, the ministry has been managing a surplus of food supply even during the movement control order (MCO) period.

He also said that the ministry will look into reports of a sudden spike in the price of chicken to RM10 per kg in several wet markets during the recovery MCO period.
