A knifeman is shot twice by US cops after threatening two WPCs and apparently attacking one of them. The incident took place in the Lower Manhattan area of New York City where 55-year-old Peyman Bahadoran suffered two gunshot wounds on 4th June, however, the authorities released the footage yesterday (Tuesday) to provide more details on the shooting and the events leading up to it. The video shows Police Officer Jillian Suarez and her partner Officer Melissa Brown entering a deli shop directly followed by Bahadoran. The door shuts on his dog lead trapping his dog outside, and as one officer opens it, Bahadoran apparently exchanges words with Brown briefly before pulling a 12-inch knife out of a sheath on his right leg. Brown discharges her taser at the 55-year-old, but it was reportedly ineffective and she moves behind the counter next to the shopkeeper as Bahadoran brandishes his knife at the pair. The shop worker cleverly unarms the suspect by handing him a pack of cigarettes and taking advantage of his brief moment of distraction. The 55-year-old man immediately raises both his hands and continues to speak to the officers before charging towards Suarez and bundling her outside the store.
